A glass door with the Gite Soleole logo printed on it, with the fields of the Lorraine countryside in the background

Nestled in the heart of the Lorraine hills, between Landremont and Sainte-Geneviève, where the countryside unfolds like a painting, Soléole is much more than a simple gîte: it's an enchanted interlude. The road leading there winds through fields and forest, like a first invitation to slow down. At the end of the path, a unique place awaits you, like an apparition in the middle of a wood. Here, everything exudes freedom, calm, and the essential.

Energy-independent thanks to its solar panels and wind turbines, Soléole lives in harmony with its environment. It's a preserved cocoon, a place where people come to reconnect... with nature, with others, and with themselves.

Alban, the boss with a big heart

Alban, the owner, welcomes you with a genuine smile and rare generosity. He took over this family-run guesthouse, which his father created in the 90s, after spending years traveling the world on humanitarian missions. His gaze is gentle, his energy boundless, and his commitment to simple, humane tourism shines through at every turn.

Here, we're not talking about standardized services or comfort (and if that's what you're looking for, we'll pass!). We're talking about encounters, sharing, and real moments. Whether you're here for a cycling trip, a group stay, or even a summer camp, you're welcomed like a long-awaited guest...

A timeless experience

At Soléole, everyday life is full of surprises and discoveries. A meal prepared by Alban and Cécile becomes a moment of conviviality around ultra-local products, all cooked in an improbable solar oven. An evening gathering transforms into an impromptu concert, an open-air show, a magical interlude. The children discover a new freedom and experience a rare adventure: stories in the sheep hut, walks with the donkeys, pizza workshops... Here, the real network is that of life, smiles, and shared stories.

And when the departure comes

At Soléole, we didn't just sleep: we lived. We left feeling a little different, as if relieved, nourished by encounters and exchanges, by real moments, and by that discreet attention that feels good. This place welcomed us, enveloped us, and somehow... it took care of us.
