In Pagny-sur-Moselle, behind the discreet door of his workshop, resonate the chords of a passion that has become a profession. Joey Martin, a former paramedic, one day decided to change his life to follow his vocation. A self-taught guitarist, he developed a passion for the instrument, for the music, of course, but also for the object he was eager to learn to make. He decided to become a luthier.

In 2019, he joined the Technological Institute of Music Professions, where he obtained his CAP (vocational certificate) as a technical assistant in musical instruments, with a guitar option. This demanding training, which he completed with numerous internships with renowned luthiers and microphone manufacturers, was completed.

A complete and inspired craftsman

These experiences sharpened his eye, refined his technique, and forged his vision: that of a craftsman attentive to each wood, each vibration. In 2021, he set up his workshop in Pagny-sur-Moselle. Since then, his creativity has been unabated.

Custom-made, delicate repairs, adjustments... Joey handles everything with precision and passion. Every guitar that leaves his workshop is a unique piece, designed to last and resonate in good hands.

Passing on rare know-how

But Joey is generous, enthusiastically sharing his expertise during workshops open to all. Do you dream of creating your own guitar, electric or folk? With Joey, it's possible. He guides you step by step, in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, to bring to life an instrument crafted by you.

A meeting not to be missed

Meeting Joey means discovering a rare craft, a talented artisan, and a beautiful human story. It's also a unique experience, blending creativity, music, and emotion.
