The Lorraine Regional Natural Park boasts a remarkable natural heritage. It encompasses six major types of environments that are home to a wide variety of species: wetlands, rivers, meadows, salt marshes, limestone grasslands, and forests. Each season, visitors discover a new facet of the Park. Among the most emblematic sites are two wetlands labeled "Ramsar" (sites of international importance): the Lindre and Lachaussée ponds. These natural gems are part of a territory rich in exceptional historical and architectural heritage, whether medieval (castles, churches, etc.), monastic (abbeys, ponds, etc.), or traditional Lorraine (fountains, gayoirs, traditional houses, etc.).
